Description
We created ŠKODA's first online activation together with the popular Dutch file sharing website WeTransfer. Normally people can only send up to 2GB with WeTransfer, but we ‘hijacked’ the medium and enabled the WeTransfer visitors to send 20GB. We did this by transforming a ŠKODA WeTransfer ad into a portal where we granted them access to a Plus account. These professional accounts offer 18GB more. This way people could experience how it feels to have more space available in their lives, online instead of offline.
Execution
Our spacious offer was presented with a visual and striking animation, encouraging our target audience to sign up. The unique WeTransfer-portal was our only channel, and it only run for a little over a week, because of the great results we achieved and the availability of Plus-accounts.
Outcome
We collected over 3500 hot leads, (target: 2500). All available Plus-accounts were given away within two days.
