The Tohoku earthquake and disaster caused unprecedented damage to Japan. Yet, what we found in the areas hit hardest by the disaster was not despair, but hope in the form of children’s laughter. Their laughter made the adults around them smile as well. It is such chains of positive energy that have given the people in these areas the drive to rebuild their homes and lives. This belief has given us a new sense of urgency to support our children through the Children’s Future Support Project.
