Description
Step inside L’Ascenseur, the Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé elevator, and ride to the top. On each floor of this sexy, urban Chateau there’s a high class, hip-hop party that keeps getting better the higher you go. The scene is a mix of hip-hop style and French heritage, and as the elevator opens its doors on each floor, it reveals increasingly more elaborate party scenes, culminating on the rooftop. This party is the real deal: if you’re here, you know how to go all out, every time you go out.
Execution
For this spot, Moët sought a sound, an original voice, a unique artist, to mix with their French heritage and sensibility for a one-of-a-kind hip-hop track. Chuck Inglish, a rapper from Chicago and one half of the hi-hop duo, The Cool Kids, was the perfect fit.
Chuck started out hustling mix tapes on MySpace and quickly became one of Rolling Stone’s "Ten Artists to Watch" due to his dope lyrical style and old school flavor. Joined by French vocalist, Soko, Chuck dropped a completely original track for Moët that brought together classic French style with a modern hip-hop twist: an undeniable hook that represented the brand perfectly.
