The hosts of a popular Radio Aalto morning show cruise around the Helsinki metropolitan area on their way to work and literally let the music do the talking.

Radio Aalto - Let The Music Do The Talking

It’s very early in the morning. Anna stands on an empty parking lot. An old car pulls up to the lot, engines roaring. It stops next to Anna. Behind the wheel is Jarkko, a matchstick in his mouth and sunglasses on his head.

Jarkko: ”Hello, is it me you ´re looking for?

”?Anna: “You know that we are living in a material world?, And I am a material girl.

”?Jarkko: “Let’s dance.”

Anna gets in the car, on the backseat. As the car moves forward, we see suburbia and empty roads. Anna sniffs the air in the car.

Anna: “Smells like teen spirit.”?

Jarkko: “Sleeping in my car.” ?

Anna: “Don’t speak, I know just what you’re saying.”

?Jarkko: “Living la vida loca.”

Kimmo is standing at a grill kiosk. He’s holding a burger.

??Kimmo (talking to the burger): “All I ever wanted all, I ever needed is here in my arms.” ??

Jarkko and Anna see Kimmo from the car. They drive stop next to him. Anna opens the window:

Anna: “Up all night to get lucky?”

?Kimmo: “I kissed a girl and I liked it.”

?Anna: “All you need is love.” ?

Kimmo: “I ´m a rough boy” ??

Kimmo throws his bag in the trunk of the car and jumps in next to Jarkko. They continue their travel.

Anna: “You were always on my mind.”

Kimmo: “I wan ´t it that way.”

?Jarkko: “You give love a bad name.”

?Anna: “Does that make me crazy?”

Kimmo: “If you don't know me by now, you will never, never, never know me”

Jarkko’s mobile rings. He hands it over to Kimmo.

We see a flash of a man, a mobster in his bathrobe talking on the phone. Then cut back to the car:

Kimmo: “Seven seconds away.”

Family man: “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.”?

Kimmo: “I drove all night to get to you.”?

Family man: “Every breath you take, every move you make, I ´ll be watching you.”

Kimmo and Anna both: “Ameno”?Jarkko: “Omenare imperavi ameno. Dimere, dimere matiro. Matiremo.”

The car rides towards a sunrise on an empty highway. Camera pans away.
