The site was developed to present Levi Strauss & Co.’s rich history in a truly engaging and interactive way in celebration of the company’s 150th anniversary. Accessible through www.levistrauss.com, www.levi.com and www.dockers.com, the immersive experience pushes the boundaries of online design and reflects Levi Strauss & Co.’s innovative spirit that started with the creation of the blue jean. The navigation vehicle is a stack of cards that echoes the Levi brand’s iconic Red Tab. Beginning in the 1850’s and continuing to the present, each card correlates to a particular decade and as the user zooms in on a decade the card evolves into a richly textured mural or 'quilt' reflecting the spirit of the era.
