OVERVIEW

Description

A twisted and original site for The Twisted Original jean. Typical consumer sites start with a simple home page and then become more complex as you work your way down, the Spring 2000 Levis Engineered Jeans site works in precisely the opposite fashion. It starts out complicated, but as soon as you start to click through, it quickly resolves itself into a simpler, more user-friendly site, devoting single windows to products instead of complicated lists. Apart from a simple "help" button, theres no obvious starting point. But after clicking a couple of times the logic becomes obvious. And by clicking promiscuously, there's a whole range of other surprises to play with, which inlcude re-engineered versions of classic card games Twist (21), Pairs, boring old Noughts and crosses, 70s arcade game Pong and a highly puzzling Morse Code game. Developed to run alongside the above-the-line Twisted Original campaign supporting the launch of Levis Engineered Jeans and therefore echoes the campaigns strategy of presenting twists on traditonal scenarios. Go ahead, make our day... Click out of the box ... We dare ya. A pioneering online advertising campaign was developed by Lateral & Starcom IP that included the use of "404" error pages. These pages usually appear when a web page a consumer is searching for cannot be located.
