Description

Poverty is a growing problem also in Finland. It is especially hard for families with children during the Christmas time. The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is a 110 year old tradition in Finland. The aim of the campaign is to help low-income families. We used a metaphor: a lifesaver that gives food to people in need. In Finnish language the direct translation of the word "lifesaver" is "salvation ring".
