“Lift Off” celebrates the everyman by reimagining one of America’s iconic moments: the 1969 Apollo 11 launch.

The mission control team at NASA is preparing for liftoff. We are introduced to four members of the team and their very specific contributions: keeping mission control in control, making sure the landing sticks, keeping the lines of communication crackling and stocking Break Room #3 with 100% Colombian Coffee.

As it is revealed the launch is a success, we watch the employees burst into celebration! Is it possible that the nine-to-fivers at NASA, and the Colombian coffee that fuelled them, played a larger part in one of America’s greatest moments? We can’t say for sure…but then again, we can't not.
