Description

It has been known for some commercials to feature a gardener with his top off, guzzling a cold drink while being admired by female office workers. We thought a gardener might also be into Hot Cross Buns - even take a shower in these popular fruity bread products.

So this is what we shot. Aldi have long done price/quality comparisons with more expensive supermarkets’ products and this ad was no exception.(The other buns being those from premium brand Marks & Spencer.) Multi channel National TV for the run up and the Easter period itself, 2016. The audience was primarily female supermarket shoppers, from 18 – 45 years.
