Description
“Marunouchi Sakura Festival 2012” was a HANAMI event held at the center of Tokyo. HANAMI is Japan’s unique celebration of cherry blossoms. When spring comes, Japanese people go out to see the blossoms and enjoy the faint change in their color.
Execution
To design such a unique feeling and culture, we created a series of posters which caught the moment of looking up at the sky under the cherry trees. Pink blossoms create glamorous shades of colors, by overlapping in multiple layers and revealing blue sky spaces between the pink.
Outcome
The advertising successfully made people excited and heated up the event very much.
