Description
Instead of telling our audience about the benefits of a green city, we decided to show them instead. Working with birding enthusiasts and paper engineers, we created 3 actual size birdhouses – with colours and designs that would be attractive to birds.
Execution
Getting poster sites in high traffic areas is a problem for every NGO. So we converted our posters into flat-packed mailers and sent them to partners and supporters of MNS. Recipients became overnight brand ambassadors and were encouraged to display the posters at their place of business.
Outcome
After our initial run of around 100 posters, we received many requests for reproductions. All posters were well received by various audiences and generated significant word of mouth in social media. The posters are also part of a larger campaign to promote MNS’s conservation efforts throughout the country.
