Description
The event’s expectation and atmosphere were created by means of two teasers and an invitation relating 'Management' to 'Circus'. The first teaser states that to be good manager, you have to be like a juggler. The box contains four coloured balls printed with names: 'quality', 'costs', 'deadlines', and 'risks'. The second states that a good manager needs to learn with trapezium artists and is accompanied by two wrist straps embroidered with the names 'firm hand' and 'trust in others'.Finally, the invitation concludes by saying that in order to be good manager, it is necessary to participate in management show.
Outcome
100 senior managers were invited. The event was completely full with 140 managers and assistants, motivated to participate from all over the country.
The invitation’s creative impact multiplied the disclosure effect. It generated dozens of new participation requests which required planning of a further seminar.
The company’s director used invitation comparisons in his opening speech, by showing that communications were also responsible in this case for facilitating the seminar’s internal debates.
