We reinterpret poems by Oscar Wilde, Arthur Rimbaud and Sylvia Plath as songs using different musical genres to show how these authors could have been the precursors of rock in their time. Later we reaffirm that, even though no rock hit was created based on their writings, a literary hit can still be created from rock.
