Roger Federer is the greatest tennis player of all time. He’s won 20 majors, over 100 titles and a Swiss bank’s worth of prizemoney. But he’s never cooked a meal. Not once.

In ‘Masters of Pasta’, Federer takes on the role of apprentice to Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani in an attempt to learn how to cook the perfect pasta dish.

He may be the GOAT with a raquet, but in the kitchen Roger is just another novice. And like all of us when we pick up something new, he has to start at the bottom.

When entering a top restaurant kitchen Roger is hit in the face with an apron. Is he ready to cook? He better be. Roger learns the basics - chopping, dicing and how to cook pasta al dente. Roger is impressed with his new skills. But is it enough for a hard taskmaster like Oldani? Hmmm.
