The challenge was staying true to the people and their stories.
It had to touch a broad audience, especially young people that can't relate directly to the events. The sound is 3D designed in such a way that the listener is centred in the story, exactly where it took place. No overkill or entertainment in terms of action. The music had to be composed in such a way that it ensures recognisability in all stories, helps a little in emotion without overdramatising it and collaborate with narration and sounddesign to interact and make it an immersive experiential audio piece, an audio documentary series throughout the city of Amsterdam.
