Let’s show people their whole life can fit in our USB!We realized that USB ports have the same shape as verticals roadside billboards. So we decided to recreate a USB stick by using this media. We made them cylindrical, transparent, and we filled them up with lots of REAL objects: music, work documents, books, pictures, letters, etc.
We placed the USB billboards around colleges and specialized electronic shopping malls.
Outcome
We innovated in the media by turning the traditional shape of the media into the traditional shape of the product.Kingston Datatraveler USB consolidated as the leader in sales within the entire market.More than 1,600,000 people saw the idea in just one week of exposure; estrategic media ubication made it possible.Media Coverage for free.
