An issue of the German advertising trade journal “Horizont” was published with a wrapper around it, designed like a knitted woollen scarf. If the reader now takes the wrapper off, he or she discovers on the reverse the new SLK along with the headline: 'Off with the scarf. AIRSCARF. The neck-level heating system in the new SLK.'

Outcome

Anyone bringing innovative products such as the SLK to market also produces advertising to match. According to Mercedes-Benz dealers, the SLK premiere was a resounding success in terms of both visitor figures and SLK orders. Thus, our client Mercedes-Benz’s technological leadership was impressively consolidated and expanded.
