Description
To celebrate the launch of the new Coupe, MINI set out to create the world’s most amazing test drive.
Execution
We started by asking our fans to submit 6 words they would use to describe 'The Best Test Drive Ever. Period.' The 6-word limitation meant we could accept entries in a number of ways: through Facebook, Twitter, mobile ads and even digital jukeboxes.
Outcome
We took in almost 15,000 entries and picked a winner, Mathew Foster, who submitted: 'stewardess', 'salt flats', 'paratroopers', 'sushi', 'falconer'. Then we flew Mathew to Los Angeles, put him behind the wheel of a Coupe and brought his beautifully warped, 6-word vision to life in a 90-second cinema ad.In Mathew’s words, “It was awesome.”
