Description
The creative solution was the development of browser app (Google Chrome) called MINI FAST FORWARD. With it, the internet videos would speed up every time the S key was pressed. That is, any YouTube, Facebook and even Netflix video could « speed up » so that the viewer could get to the interesting part for him. A fun and functional way of navigating internet videos – fun like driving a MINI COOPER S.
Execution
The app counted on integrated work among technology and communication professionals, making its implementation on Google Chrome able to explore different opportunities. The app was developed for the brazilian market (considering that the internet is democratizing any and every distance) . The relevance of the brand came across through its « fun » way of presenting « speed ». That is, an app revealed that driving a MINI can be just as much fun as piloting a video on the internet, so that you can quickly get to the best part. Design elements from the car were also adapted to the different componentes of the navigation interface of the players of videos on the internet. Examples: the speedometer; the engine’s roar, different soundesigns of the MINI COOPER S were used on the app.
Outcome
Once the application is installed in Google Chrome, the MINI logo
is now displayed in ALL ONLINE VIDEOS. Even in ads of other car brands :)
