Description

Our idea was to ship the most iconic, surprising Minnesota places across the US - sharing a unique piece of our state with those not considering a visit. Each MNstagram booth is a fully immersive experience that gives people a chance to visit First Avenue, the famous rock club where Prince created the Minneapolis sound, or the Boundary Waters, 1.1 million acres of untouched forest and waterways like nothing else in the country.

Execution

The MNstagram booths traveled the Midwest making stops in Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, and the Minnesota State Fair.

The road show took place between 5/6/16 and 8/30/16, stopping at the events listed below:

- Middle of the Map Festival, KC

- Five Points Jazz Festival, Denver

- Coors Field, Denver

- Denver Day of Rock, Denver

- Bolder Boulder Marathon, Denver

- The Color Run, Chicago

- Ribfest Chicago

- Navy Pier, Chicago

- Wells Street Art Festival, Chicago

- Minnesota State Fair, Minneapolis

Outcome

The MNstagram booths received nearly 2 million impressions throughout its travels and an additional 9.1 million social impressions. As part of the spring/summer campaign, the booth generated big returns, resulting in 3.5 million trips, $388.8 million in traveler spending and $37.3 million in state and local taxes in 2016.
