KPN Hi, a telecom company, wanted to stimulate the use of i-mode, their mobile browser. They did this by offering the relevant service MSN Messenger on your mobile, because Messenger is the most popular way of communicating with friends among the target group. To promote this service Lost Boys and FHV created the Hi Bla Bla campaign. Chatman was created as the main character; he is always online and able to communicate. He has his own weblog, is a MSN bot and took over msn.nl for a day. Over 700,000 people added Chatman as a buddy to communicate with him.
