The small car market in Australia has moved on in a big way since the Nissan Pulsar left seven years ago. Consumers are demanding more from their small cars, far beyond the basic A to B. While people are excited the Pulsar is making a return, we had to tell people it has moved on in a big way. We needed something epic, yet simple; emotional but with a touch of rational product messaging too.
The spot follows the story of the Pulsar design team trying to please their boss — a relentless, unwavering, perfectionist. The spot appeared nationally and focused on value-seeking people, aged 25-64.
