We needed to create an original piece of music that tells an emotional story of how food can be at the center of dealing with loss and love…from a cat’s point of view. This original score takes us on Moto’s journey with Andrea through the highs and lows of their life together. Created to be cat-like in nature, the stripped-down instrumentals intimately highlight how Moto is feeling—whether it’s playful, quirky or even, at times, sad. When Moto and Andrea are out of sync, so too is the score. And as Andrea ultimately realizes that she can better show her love through feeding Moto better food, the melodies become in sync once again.
