Getty Images wanted to announce the launch of its newest offering - a stock music library, in the most interesting way possible.
Execution
The idea lies in the execution. Hence, we used stock pictures from the Getty Images library to make up names of various bands to convey the now available stock music.
Outcome
The posters turned out to be highly instrumental in generating high traffic to the Getty Images website for stock music. In fact, within the first few weeks of the ads being released Getty Music saw 62% more downloads that what was projected by their sales team. All in all, the posters were useful, not just for Getty Music, but also in boosting the image of Getty Images.
