A young girl reads a poem she’s written about her farm, which seems like a lush and idyllic place. But with each new line, things slowly change – we hear the girl age, from an infant child, all the way through to a mature woman.

As this change in VO takes place, a change in the content occurs too. Specifically, the situation at the farm worsens. And so we realise that over the passage of time, through this woman’s life, heat will increasingly impact her farm.
