In a continuation of the long-running Unbelievable Value campaign, the ad features Professor Stephen Hawking musing on the most mystifying problems he has faced in his illustrious career, including the surprising affordability of a Volkswagen.
The preeminent physicist and author of a Brief History of Time explains how he has, over time, managed to make sense of quantum physics and begun to grasp the complex workings of the Universe. He is, though, still confounded by the fact that you can purchase a Volkswagen up! for only £7,995.
The voice-over was recorded by Professor Stephen Hawkings himself, using the distinctive Equalizer programme, which he controls via an infrared sensor measuring his cheek movements.
