A good story has the power to suck you right in, making you feel like you're part of it.
Kinokuniya needed to demonstrate this by giving its audience an engaging audio narrative. The spots were written to target people where they mostly listen to the radio: while driving.
By hearing the ads, the audience understand the excitement, the drama of being deeply engrossed in an audio book and how the stories they hear can easily be a story about them.
