The brief was to set the film in a stunning NYC style penthouse with the breath-taking view of a generic Asian city skyline. As such, we created a detailed CG city skyline that gave us unparalleled control over every aspects - from the layout to the lighting, even the specific time of day. Such control allowed us to tailor the environment precisely to our creative vision.

By using LED screens on set, we brought the CG city to life in-camera as not only the CG city skyline is captured while we shot, its reflection were also casted on the glass and shiny surfaces, creating a very realistic result.

We also created an epic sequence to both show off the Downy pack, and also show how the product works. This sequence featured the mesmerising transformation of the product bursting into flower-filled bubbles. When they come into contact with the clothing, flower petals are released and they float gracefully throughout the apartment. All animated and simulated using Houdini.
