Summary: www.bmw-welt.comTask/Date: Complete concept, design, launch and information architecture for BMW Welt, a new highlight project within the architectural history of the BMW brand. Creating of several process steps and planning of the page development until the opening of BMW Welt in 2005.First launch-date (step 1) was 09/09/02. The launch date of our entry was 02/26/03 (step 2)Focus: it is “changing” until the opening from a more expert orientated B2C target group to the wide B2C target group and friends of the BMW brand.
Objectives: demonstrating the high level premium approach of BMW also concerning architecture. Communicating the BMW brand philosophy and history in this sector. Demonstrating the request concerning BMW Welt: “The BMW Welt will be the authentic brand experience in all its fascinating facets. A future delivery centre and new brand attraction. Prominently located in Munich between the BMW Tower and the Olympic Complex.”Establishing for the first time a completely FLASH-Version in this BMW company segmentPartners: we implement the entire project. The programming was done by our partner company Argotec.
