Description
The trailer for the Art of Speed video compilation is a marriage between elite motion graphics work and minimalist storytelling that exudes speed. The experience had to transcend the use of language, in a way that felt natural and more importantly, "amazing", since French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese were all utilised. The Nikelab.com design team worked with Tronic to create a 3-D model of the "World of Speed", a planet environment, and then created the fly-through paths and all the renderings in-house in 3-D Studio Max. Typography was developed in AfterEffects and the whole piece was edited using FinalCut.
