Description

An immersive trialing experience that showcased the speed and zero-step advantage of Nike’s Vapor Untouchable 2 cleat. Curated for nearly 500 top athletes and select Nike+ members, this digital installation was held inside San Francisco's historic Old Mint building. Highlighting the “ferociously fast in every direction” concept of the cleat, athletes (users) were challenged to run through 3 quick-strike football routes in under a minute. Vivid generative graphics, triggered by laser-scanning motion sensor tracking technology, produced fractured gold elements projected onto the turf in the player's wakes. An automatically/algorithmically-edited video of their route performance was delivered to the athletes’ inboxes within 90 seconds of completing the experience.
