Background
In 2015, Doctors of the world tried to cope with one of the greatest human emergencies to hit the earth in years. To name but a few, 6.000 refugees need medical assistance in Calais, 8.000.000 Syrians have been displaced, 30.000 Nepalese have been killed or wounded. And without ever going to the other end of the world, in France, 3 million people are living under the poverty line. Thus the brief is simple: How can we raise money for the NGO?
Description
We’re in the middle of nowhere, a doctor from Doctors of the World is speaking to a refugee, telling him he can’t do anything for him, because it’s « difficult right now». Another one is passing by a family in need, but he avoids eye contact and continues talking on the phone.“I don’t have time”, “I’m in a rush today”, “next time, I swear”… a film, which plays with humor on our hurry Parisians replicas, but pronounced by the Doctors of the World staff to its beneficiaries.
Execution
The film was broadcast on TV, and before each film screening of each MK2 cinema
(3rd French cinema network) for 2 weeks during the new Star Wars release.
It was then uploaded on Youtube and Facebook.
The print campaign was rolled out during two weeks in the Paris subway and in both regional and nationwide print titles.
The T-shirts were sold for one month, online and in-store.
