Execution
The first step was to get the N93 device into the hands of a filmmaker and to create a promotion that tied into the film festival itself. The documentary filmmaker Oren Jacoby was chosen to “direct’ in the project. When Oren started experimenting with the device, it became clear that it was a legitimate film tool. He created profiles of New York luminaries who were connected to the festival. The profiles included Ed Burns, Rosie Perez, Sam Pollard, John Polson, and Siofra Campbell and they became the subjects for videos that were screened at the festival on a daily basis.
Outcome
The client was incredibly pleased at the demonstration of the strength and versatility of their product in front of this discerning audience. Connecting Nokia to a festival with such worldwide recognition was a coup for the brand.
