There is a 5000-year technology gap between the manual toothbrush and Sonicare. We need to bring our tech-obsessed audience to the realization that when it comes to oral care they’re living in the Stone Age.
The first toothbrush was invented around 36000BC – imagine a stick with some bristles. So what’s changed since then? Not a lot really. For the last 5 thousand+ years a manual toothbrush is still a stick with some bristles on the end of it.
Meanwhile, people have adopted technology at an exponential rate and obsessively surround themselves with every adornment of innovation… except when it comes to oral care.
A blind spot has developed around the toothbrush, the one area in which people are ignorantly satisfied with technology from the Stone Age. They’re satisfied with a mere 300 strokes a minute at most, compared with 31,000 strokes a minute with Sonicare. In fact 2 minutes of brushing with a Sonicare is worth 2 months of brushing manually.
Sonicare can be the first to show our audience this stark contrast in performance.
When it comes to your toothbrush you only need to do one thing to overcome this 5 thousand year gap… Stick With Technology.
