Description

The client is in the business of connecting and entertaining people whether they’re at home or on the move, so we wanted to inject fun into the shopping experience by providing an unrivalled ‘wow’ factor, perfect in which to showcase Virgin Media’s next-generation services and by providing a fun and immersive sensory experience at every touch point.

This sense of theatre and personality provides the gateway for customers to explore the world of the latest entertainment and communications services from Virgin Media.

This transformational approach has inspired the creation of a more immersive experience in keeping with the Virgin heritage.

Execution

Our House takes customers on a voyage of discovery to witness everything from the cable powering Our House, to live demonstrations of Virgin Media’s TiVo® and superfast broadband services, and on to the prospect of enjoying a cup of tea and a chat in Our Garden, where the sun is always shining and the birds are always tweeting.

The concept was about creating a thread on which to hang a more readable story for the customers. It looks like part of a street, so it’s a half-constructed house, and when you walk in you see things like the fibre-optics.

Outcome

Virgin Media will incorporate successful elements from the flagship store into its other 90-plus shops nationwide.
