Execution

The identity relates geometric forms (square, circle and a quarter of circle) with the three main elements of the Modern Ensemble: Niemeyer´s architecture, Burle Marx´s landscaping and Pampulha lake´s water mirror. The result is the creation of an exclusive typography, which makes use of these elements, unveiling the word Pampulha only when disposed together. As showcased by the Pampulha Modern Ensemble, the brand only exists when architecture (square), landscaping (circle) and water mirror (circle quarter) are united.

Outcome

The project is in the second stage of evaluation in UNESCO. The result will be published in November 2016 at the World Heritage Council annual meeting.
