Strategy: To reach the goals our strategy was to provide the user with a fantasy. We decided to stop the use of static banners that our client, Direct TV, had been using (JPG’s with the picture of a woman with the Playboy and Hustler logos). We proposed to create an interactive banner that would catch the user’s attention appealing their voyeuristic facet.The Keyhole Piece: With this piece we encouraged the user to move the keyhole to be able to peek thru it and see an image of a nude woman, as the user releases the mouse button, he/she would automatically be taken to the Pay-Per-View Adult landing page, where the service is fully described.Copy 1: “Move the keyhole to see more.”Copy 2: “Would you like to have the key?"
