As filmmakers in advertising, we execute creatives to sell products and brands. Every once in a while, something comes along that stops us in our tracks and makes us take a deep, awed, excited breath. Something that offers the chance of denting the future and actually, in a real way, brightening it. Like the concept of the Land of Light Bulbs.
Exhilarated with the concept and its potential, we started our journey – two directors from two countries, varied experience, multiple thoughts, one direction. Combining our narrative and visual strengths, we started filming our story with our passionate crew, tireless even in the scorching Indian summer. And as one, we moved towards our attempt to create a tale of a little boy in a little village with a vast, global resonance.
