Description
The task: Create an online experience that arouses interest in the car and presents the benefits of the car to the full. Our solution: The site is built around a tongue-in-cheek play on the theme of industrial espionage, with users "hacking" into the Peugeot server against the clock in order to obtain "secret" technical information on the car. The plot reflects the enormous popularity of the 206 CC, which already has a waiting list stretching until at least 2002. The site uses Java technology, which enables us to incorporate panoramic views of the car without the need for unfeasibly large files. Users are able to rotate the car, view it from all sides, step inside, and zoom up close on all interior features. The site also includes a film of the hood mechanism in action.
