In order not to drown in the clutter of the fair halls, we went to a place where we had the visitors’ undivided attention: the fair’s parking lot.
Every driver who entered the parking lot got the chance to experience the real race car drivers’ feeling of victory: by celebrating them like real winners with typical Grid Girls who spice up every racing award ceremony!The ceremony was captured on a Polaroid and the drivers received the photo as a gift that says: “Feel like a winner – Gran Turismo 5 – The Real Driving Simulator”.
Outcome
After 3 days, our Grid Girls had given 1,800 fair visitors the chance to experience the real winner’s feeling. But furthermore, the enthusiastic winners also uploaded their pictures in gaming communities, on blogs and in social networks, from where they quickly found their way into articles in the gaming press.
