Description

This brand had 2 main goals:

1 - Unite the Portuguese film professionals;

2 - Unite the Portuguese people and the Portuguese cinema.

Mandatory piece: the creation of an iconic award, the statuette.

Execution

We started with the letter “C” (cinema), graphically composed by several “A’s” (academy). The “A’s” represent each branch of the academy professionals: actors, directors, etc.

The natural opening of the “C” invokes a movie projection. It opens up the national film industry to the Portuguese people.

Outcome

Too early to say. The brand official launch was at the 1st Academy Awards Ceremony, which was broadcasted at primetime on public television, for all the country to see. All the industry professionals attended. The event was commented on in the social networks and on the media.
