The campaign used hydraulic parking posts throughout Paris to demonstrate the power of the new Canon S1’s 10x optical zoom lens. The posts were disguised as cameras and the mechanism of the posts simulated the movement of the S1’s powerful lens.
Outcome
This campaign was extremely inexpensive compared to traditional advertising campaigns and although the reach and frequency of a guerilla campaign is relatively limited, the word-of-mouth exposure and PR generated by it are inestimable.
