Description
To reinforce the commitment of Procrit to overall health during the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chemotherapy-induced anemia (CIA), we created an app that will help doctors and patients become more informed about treatment of anemia, keep track of individual patients’ overall health, and outline symptoms of anemia. The users will have access to three main sections within the app: Education, Data, and Reports. This Procrit patient app will launch on iOS devices and will connect with Apple’s HealthKit to aggregate data into patient reports.
Execution
A simple full screen interface makes health information easy to track. Large tiles cover relevant health parameters with data charted by day, week, month, and year. Depending on user preference, information is displayed in chart or list form. Alert notices can be set and are triggered when it’s time to take a new measurement. New data can be added either manually or pulled in from Apple Health Kit, which can sync with the Apple Watch and other wearables. Input is charted by incidence and level of severity, providing contextually richer data for physician health records. For greater utility, the dashboard is dynamic, giving the most used tiles increased prominence and color-concern rating. Also provided is access to information on anemia and Procrit, as well as lab results, personal profile, and contacts.
Roll out will be robustly supported by: Apple Watch app, print, Web banners, rep materials, and e-mail blasts
