Description
The creative idea was to involve all the selected influencers and stakeholders in a preview of a 360° experience of flying on board of Frecce Tricolori, in the first “360° immersive PR” experience in Italy.
All stakeholders were engaged with an application for smartphone and a customized cardboard.
The application was managed from backend: the first content showing was the countdown to the moment of the reveal.
Influencers, bloggers and VIP people were invited in an exclusive location: a glass dome designed by the archistar Fuksas on a roof top of the ex Military HQ building in Rome…the right place to take off from!
In a certain moment, wherever he was, everybody was involved in the experience in the same time: the preview of the 360° video was played from remote in a synchronized way on each smartphone, so everybody could live the immersive 360° flight on board Frecce Tricolori.
Execution
Feasibility study, design and prototype production of the custom 360 rig of cameras system to install on board in the cockpit in compliance with the Aeronautica Militare restricted guidelines.
Engineering and certification of the 360 cameras system.
360 video production during Frecce Tricolori airshow (content production of the experience).
55° Frecce Tricolori Anniversary event in Rivolto (UD).

The innovative and memorable experience has had a very positive impact since the beginning not only increasing awareness and positive WOM, but also growing the business of the company with new customers’ activation.
Outcome
Great social results:
- The first 360° video show in Rome was the Italian trending topic on Twitter all the event long and over. More than 800 tweets in less than one hour with 190 bloggers and influencers involved and 2 million of people reached.
- The 360° video launched during the event reached in 20 days on Fastweb FB page 1.200.000 views, 4.900 likes and 673 comments; on Aeronautica Militare FB page 228.000 views, 4.800 likes and was shared 7.511 times.
