Description
Due to endless manufacturing and consuming and the overflow of fast fashion, things that could still be of use is easily discarded all the time. At times, even clothes that are still in season are incinerated to make carbon dioxide emissions and thus acceleration global warming. The recycling spirit of fromBIN, a brand spirit of going against fast fashion, was advertised to the in the main fashion streets of Korean and received great response from the younger generation.
Execution
We collected thrown away flyers, magazines then through collaboration with a street artist, we used environment -friendly spray paint on these collected waste paper to produce a one of a kind poster which is has connection with the fromBIN bag itself that are made by hand, one by one. Also, waste paper from advertisement was used to make relevance with the product. For example, print advertisement for bicycles were used to advertise a bag made with discarded bicycle tubes and print advertisements for leather sofas were used to advertise a bag made with discarded leather sofa material.
Outcome
Sales have also reached its peak since the launching of the product and in comparison to this great ripple effect, the cost of advertisement has been close to none and we did not have to use almost no new paper or materials. We were able to carry on a campaign that not only effectively advertised the product but also play a role in contributing to save the environment
