Our agency needed a new receptionist so we employed an actress to masquerade as our ‘current receptionist’ (Narelle), fired for inappropriate behaviour, then showed her antics to the world.
We ran a press ad that read 'takemyjob.com.au'. The site featured live streaming video of Narelle, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Viewers could call Narelle and be treated to a barrage of four letter words while watching via the web cam. A personal blog, myspace and email address meant Narelle was always available to interact. All of this resulted in a flood of applicants and new client interest.
