OVERVIEW

Description

Brothers’ is a powerful film about a musician who uses HP technology to enable his deaf brother to experience music for the first time. The film actively showcases the power and capability of HP technology, whilst authentically demonstrating how it can be used to transform people’s lives for the better. Going against the grain of a cluttered category talking about spec and hard drives.

Execution

Brothers was created and produced over 4 months in 2016. Media placement included national TV spot airtime across the USA, and online advertising to drive viewers to YouTube. It was executed as 170 second, 60” and 30” versions. Versions were researched at animatic and edit stage scoring highest ever marks in Emotional engagement Brainjuicer testing. (All films scored a maximum 5 out of 5).

Outcome

‘Brothers’ was a global success with millions of online views in the US, India and South America. HP grew it’s global share’s by 36% and it’s overall US market share grew to from 19% to 26.4% in a declining market. Outselling Apple.
