Description

How can 12 simple Instagram photos generate $120,000 for a good cause? By turning “Likes” into bucks.

We found 12 special outdoor spots across America that needed a little extra love and pledged $10,000 to each of them – $120,000 total.

And on August 23, the BMW X1 hit the road, driving coast-to-coast, stopping at each place and posting a picture.

For every Instagram photo “Liked” along the way, we donated a dollar back to that location. You gave a like, we gave a buck. It was as easy as that.

Three weeks, 17 states, and 120,000 “Likes” later, we met our goal – giving away all $120,000, and restoring the outdoors, one like at a time.
