Execution

The first 8x3 metre Facebook application.To demonstrate the campaign concept we were the first to take our users' Facebook profiles out on the street and feature them on 10, 8x3 metre advertising billboards.The history of an application, 10 people and 10 billboards.The action started with a Facebook application that automatically extracted users' most outstanding posts related to the concept "You are the origin", to put together a surprising story with their first profile photo, the first friend they added, the photo with the most comments and even the word they used the most.

The 10 best stories and their stars went beyond the limits of their digital lives to feature on advertising billboards in their home towns.

Outcome

10 stories that attracted media attention.More than 8,000 Facebook users found their way to the Brugal Rum profile.More than 4,000 of them shared the app.And more than 5,000 of them downloaded their personalised stories in poster format.And stranger still. The ten competition winners were featured in news stories in their respective home towns.
