Samsung TV app provides diverse function. It`s possible that scan the model number in tv e-pop with a camera or product code search, and filtering search using intuitive icons on Samsung Electronics TV products for global app users

Also users can favorite or share with other people through SNS TV products they like, and it is possible to easily compare product information with similar products. A new mobile digital marketing platform was created where information provided through app leads to actual purchase.

Outcome

After introduction of Samsung TV app, it recorded 1,770,000 downloads and received great attention from global Samsung consumers. Through downloading a mobile app that has essential information by implication, consumers can easily browse Samsung TV products, and it took place as a digital marketing platform that can surpass the limited exhibit space of offline stores.

In the app that will be soon upgraded, functions induce visit to nearby offline stores and enabling purchase online, through link to retailers it leads to actual product purchase, and the information delivery method within the website is evolving to be optimized for the mobile platform.
